Optimising Virtual Interactions to Drive Product Launch Success

Background

Our client’s Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) were experiencing significant challenges in managing virtual interactions with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), particularly when there was no pre-existing relationship. They required a strategic solution to enhance virtual engagement and build the confidence and capabilities of the MSLs, thereby ensuring successful product launches in a predominantly virtual environment.

Solution:

We designed a survey for our client’s Field Medical organisation to shape the scope of their L&D initiative. The survey results informed external research with selected physicians to gain their perspectives on virtual meetings for new product launches. We then conducted interviews with physicians to understand their point of view and corroborate our survey research, ultimately designing a learning solution that accurately reflected the needs of both the business and the HCP landscape.

Outcomes:

Our extended programme improved virtual engagement with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and was recognised internally and externally for its effectiveness. The success of the virtual interactions led to more meaningful and productive engagements with key stakeholders, contributing significantly to the overall success of new product launches in a virtual setting.

Client Testimonial

“My personal objective of showing up as me was met and I left comfortable that I will use this skill moving forward. I learned that prepping for a presentation is more about how I want to show up than the material being presented.”

We'd love to talk.
