Creating a Comprehensive Capabilities Framework
Background
A specialist team within our client’s international Market Access function needed a targeted Capabilities Framework to optimise skills, capability, and performance. They required a structured, detailed, and expert approach to identify and define excellence in their operations and transform their appraisal and development processes.
Solution:
We surveyed and interviewed senior leaders and strategic stakeholders, followed by workshops with the entire team to identify and define excellence in every aspect of their work. We also created an Assessment Centre with a toolkit to manage and observe candidate performance, improving appraisal processes and strategic initiatives for ongoing L&D projects.
Outcomes:
Our targeted Capabilities Framework led to improved appraisal processes, supported learning and development initiatives, and served as a comprehensive training and development tool for internal capability improvement. This framework optimised skills and performance across the organisation.
